Mini Camp Dye, July 22-24
Join us at the shed for a mini exploration into the world of dyeing. We will work with local plants plucked from the dye garden to make a variety of colors, as well as create our own indigo vat. Campers will be given a tote, silk and large scraps to test in their dye baths. The scraps will be used in the mini journal they’ll create to recall on for later dyeing projects. Campers will take everything home on the last day. We will be spending a lot of time outside under the canopy of the great oak trees on our property so please pack a sunhat, bugspray, sunscreen as well as a bottle of water and packed lunch. Camp runs 9:00am-1:00pm.
